Bedford Gardens Caravan Park - Rubyvale

Bedford Gardens Caravan Park, as the name suggests has many trees, shrubs and plants, selected for their colour, foliage and ability to survive times of drought.

Now, after nearly 15 years, it is hard to believe that this park was once a spear grass paddock on the edge of the town of Rubyvale, which is the Hub of the Central Queensland Sapphire Fields. Known to many folk, Worldwide, these Gemfields yield blue, green, yellow and parti-coloured sapphires as well as champayne and sherry coloured zircons.
